Scope of Work As a Clinical Nurse with Corewell Health, providing top‑notch patient care is paramount. You will use the nursing process framework and incorporate patient‑family‑centered care principles to ensure the highest quality of care. Under the direction of the Nurse Leader, you will be a vital member of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families. Qualifications Associate’s Degree or equivalent; Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.N., M.S.N.) or advanced degree (DNP/Ph.D.); if not trained in a BSN program, new graduates with less than one year of experience must enroll in an accredited BSN program within one year of licensure and complete it within five years (effective April 18 2023). Graduates from non‑accredited nursing programs must have at least one year of acute‑care experience or more than two years of experience in a licensed health‑care role and must have passed the NCLEX examination. Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Michigan upon hire. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) via AHA, ARC, or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation upon hire. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) via AHA for Critical Care, Emergency Care, Pre‑Op/PACU, and Radiology within 180 days; ACLS for Endoscopy (except Dearborn, Farmington Hills, and Taylor) upon hire. Certification in CRT Specialty is required (availability to be confirmed by the hiring manager).
