Inside Sales Manager

Our client, a leading provider of content, technology, and digital solutions, is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team focused on new business acquisition and competitive takeaways. This leadership role offers the opportunity to manage and develop a national inside sales team, drive strategic growth initiatives, and influence sales performance across a portfolio of innovative products and solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in sales leadership, pipeline management, coaching, and business development, along with the ability to leverage data and analytics to drive results. Responsibilities Include: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Inside Sales Representatives focused on new business growth. Drive pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and sales execution across assigned territories. Conduct regular pipeline reviews and performance coaching sessions. Develop territory and business plans to maximize revenue and competitive takeaways. Partner with Marketing, Editorial, and Sales leadership to execute strategic growth initiatives. Recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and improve performance. Manage forecasting, reporting, budgeting, and overall team productivity. Ideal Candidate: 5+ years of successful sales experience, including leadership responsibilities. Experience leading inside sales, business development, or acquisition-focused teams. Strong coaching, performance management, and team development skills. Analytical mindset with experience using CRM and sales enablement tools. Experience with consultative or solution-based selling methodologies. Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Publishing, EdTech, media, SaaS, or technology-based sales experience is preferred.
