Job Summary: The Order Entry will receive orders for processing and manual entry.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Enter and process all orders assigned
• Process all order change requests for assigned customer accounts
• Assist with small scale quoting
• Follow all standard operating procedures and assist in improving processes when possible
• Communicate openly and professionally with production, sales, and engineering team
• Builds rapport with all internal teams and works to ensure they receive excellent service.
• Communicate with customers either by telephone or electronically for order-related questions.
• Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
• Develop knowledge of scheduling principles and practices
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong Microsoft applications skills
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain good customer relations.
• Ability to type 40-50 words per minute.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn database and ordering systems.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in customer service, scheduling, or order processing is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Frequent walking to deliver or retrieve paperwork.
• Occasional standing and bending are required to review products in the production areas.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

Pay: $16 to $17 per hour
