Payroll Lead

Vaco is seeking a Construction Payroll Lead in Phoenix, AZ What stands out about this role? Gain Experience Alongside an Industry Leader People-First Culture & Balanced Work Environment Responsibilities include: Lead and develop a team of two payroll specialists, including coaching and performance management. Manage full-cycle payroll processing for a designated region. Review and post payroll-related journal entries. Ensure compliance with certified payroll reporting requirements. Maintain and update certified payroll rate tables and supporting data. Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Partner with field teams to resolve and prevent timekeeping errors. Review payroll support tickets to ensure timely and accurate resolution. Requirements: High volume, multistate payroll experience (Required) 3-5 years of end-to-end payroll with supervisory experience (Required) Strong understanding and experience with construction payroll (prevailing wages, job costing, fringe calculations, union payroll, etc.) Previous experience in LCPtacker, eMars, AASHTOWare, or other relevant CPR software experience Ability to go on site 4 days a week Salary $85-95k To be immediately considered, APPLY NOW!
