Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN with expertise in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing for a travel assignment in Asheville, NC. This role involves working in a fast-paced unit that focuses on ED decompression and enhanced patient throughput.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Provide care focused on patient safety and experience
• Admit patients from ED and complete assessments and medication reconciliation
• Initiate acute care orders to reduce length of stay
• Work collaboratively with team members in a clinical decision/direct admit unit
• Potentially float to other units within skill set, such as CMU Telemetry or ED Transport

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• A minimum of 2 years recent MedSurg, Telemetry, and Step-Down (PCU) experience
• Advanced skills such as Charge Nurse experience are appreciated
• Focus on teamwork and maintaining a positive attitude
