Attorney - Commercial Litigation

Established (30+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney in Houston, TX!

An established, full-service firm with over thirty years in practice is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-7+ years of experience to join their Houston, TX team on a hybrid schedule of four days in office and one day remote. This role centers on complex commercial litigation, real estate and partnership disputes, and business tort matters in state and federal court, handling cases from pre-litigation strategy through trial and appeal while advising clients across a wide range of industries.

Offer:
Salary range of $150,000-$200,000+, commensurate with experience

Qualifications:
Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas 
3-7+ years of commercial litigation experience at a law firm 
Proven track record managing matters through discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation 
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills 
Experience appearing in Texas state and federal courts 
Ability to handle a varied caseload independently while collaborating with senior litigators

Responsibilities:
Manage commercial litigation matters from pre-litigation strategy through trial and appeal 
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and dispositive briefing 
Conduct depositions and represent clients in hearings and mediations 
Develop case strategy in collaboration with shareholders and senior attorneys 
Advise clients on litigation risk and business focused resolution options 
Maintain direct client contact throughout the lifecycle of each matter
