Certified Medical Coders - Outpnt & ED

We are seeking dedicated and skilled professionals to join our team as Certified Medical Coders. The role involves medical coding in an acute care setting. Candidates must possess proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, ICD-9-CM, CPT-4, and Encoder. A thorough knowledge of coding guidelines, payor guidelines, and federal billing guidelines is essential, along with an understanding of anatomy, physiology, and disease processes. The ability to research coding-related issues and competence in coder training is also required. Experience with CCS and familiarity with the 3M/HDS coding application is necessary, along with outpatient and ED experience.

Education Requirement

• High School Diploma/GED
• AHIMA
• RHIA or RHIT and/or CCP, CCS

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Three years of experience
• Knowledge of ICD-10
