Director of Life Cycle Management (LCM) & Future Strategy Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) & Rare Disease (Rahway)

Job DescriptionThe Director of Life Cycle Management (LCM) & Future Strategy for Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) & Rare Disease will play an integral role on the newly established US Rare Disease & PH Scientific Strategy organization in our company's US Specialty Business Unit. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for leading portfolio strategy, managing long-term forecasting, establishing franchise strategy for launch and assessing viability of future assets for the rare disease and PH therapeutic area. This role requires strategic leadership, strong partnership with US & Global marketing and US payer marketing and significant collaboration with stakeholders across the organization. This position will report to the Executive Director, US Rare Disease & PH Scientific Strategy.Key Responsibilities of the role:Lead the life cycle management portfolio strategy for rare disease business unitResponsible for identifying and assessing potential new product opportunities based on strategic objectives, market potential, and resource allocation.Develop US business development commercial assessments in collaboration with payor marketing team to identify future commercial opportunityHelp define the U.S. future potential for new products in the PH & Rare Disease space and represent the US perspective at various cross-functional new product planning meetingsPartner with global marketing to provide U.S. input into future clinical studies & combinations and provide US POV on stage-gate and development plan decisionsPartner with Market Access, Finance, Research, Legal, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure US perspective is considered in product strategy and business goals Lead innovation workstreams to enhance near and long-term future commercial opportunities for PH & Rare DiseaseEvaluate the competitive landscape to help define future opportunities for the portfolio Lead the long-term forecasts for new products, considering market dynamics and potential revenue streamsSupport the budget cycle processes and ensure BU alignment in preparation for senior management reviewQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent (BA/BS).10+ years of relevant experienceExcellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skillsProven experience in effectively leading cross-functional, enterprise teamsSignificant strategy development experience and in working in white spaceStrong business acumenStrong verbal and non-verbal communication skills and executive presenceForecasting experienceUnderstanding of US commercial and regulatory requirementsHas a growth mindset, advocates for agile ways of working, and supports team members in learning and adoptionExperience working in and with diverse teamsPreferred Education and Experience:MBA or equivalent preferredLaunch experienceNew Products Marketing experiencePulmonary Hypertension experienceArtificial Intelligence proficiency Required Skills: Digital Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, Market Access, Market Research, Omnichannel Marketing, Product Launches, Product Strategies, Rare Diseases, Strategic Thinking, Teamwork, US MarketingPreferred Skills: Current Employees apply HERECurrent Contingent Workers apply HEREUS and Puerto Rico Residents Only:Our company is committed to inclusion, ensuring that candidates can engage in a hiring process that exhibits their true capabilities.
