As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.70 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access-related logs in accordance with site procedures. Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries as directed to help support controlled access to the facility and restricted areas. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: Loss prevention experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
