Part-Time Unarmed Security Guard (Secret Clearance Required)

We are seeking professional, dependable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a  Part-Time Unarmed Security Guard . This position is responsible for protecting personnel, property, and facilities while maintaining a safe and secure environment at assigned locations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, situational awareness, and the ability to follow established security procedures and site protocols.

This position requires an  Active Secret Clearance .

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure assigned buildings, facilities, and property
• Control access to facilities by verifying identification and credentials
• Conduct routine foot patrols and security inspections
• Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and common spaces
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security concerns
• Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors
• Enforce site security rules, procedures, and policies
• Coordinate with supervisors, management, and emergency personnel when necessary
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Follow all company safety and security protocols

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to complete detailed incident and activity reports
• Professional appearance and customer service skills required

Site-Specific Security Checklist

Daily responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Access Control

• Verify employee and visitor credentials
• Monitor entrances and exits
• Maintain visitor logs and sign-in procedures
• Prevent unauthorized access to facilities

Patrol Duties

• Conduct interior and exterior patrols
• Inspect doors, gates, and secure areas
• Monitor parking lots and surrounding property
• Identify and report suspicious activity or safety concerns

Incident Response

• Respond to alarms and emergency situations
• Complete incident and activity reports
• Notify supervisors and emergency personnel when required
• Assist with evacuations and emergency procedures

Professional Standards & Compliance

• Follow all client and company security procedures
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Ensure compliance with site-specific security requirements
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform appearance

Schedule

• Part-Time Position
• Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts may be available
• Schedule may vary based on client and site requirements
