Located in Minneapolis, MN Salary: $26 - $31/hour SOUS CHEF - HIRING IMMEDIATELYDeerwood, MN | On-site Housing Available | Must relocate before starting Express Employment is seeking a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen near Brainerd, MN. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who enjoys leading others, maintaining high food quality standards, and contributing to a positive guest experience. This position is full-time, year-round, and offers a full benefits package. Salary starts at $54,080 - $64,480 per year, based on skills and experience. Must have a current ServSafe Certification. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, food quality, and presentation
- Assist with scheduling, inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Support menu development and ensure recipe consistency
- Lead, train, and coordinate back-of-house staff
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with other departments for events and service needs
- Culinary degree preferred
- 3+ years of culinary or kitchen leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of food costs, inventory, and kitchen operations
- Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively
- ServSafe Certification
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be willing to relocate before starting position
