Payroll Coordinator Details:
- Temporary position
- $23.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )
- Collect, review, and verify employee and contractor time records for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter payroll and timekeeping data into company systems.
- Coordinate payroll information with the company's third-party payroll provider for internal employees.
- Track labor hours and costs by project and job site.
- Process and distribute weekly contractor payments.
- Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to timekeeping, payroll, and contractor payments.
- Generate reports and assist with payroll-related audits as needed.
- Communicate with field personnel, supervisors, and contractors regarding payroll and timekeeping issues.
- Support additional administrative and accounting functions as requested.
Payroll Coordinator Qualifications:
- Previous payroll, administrative, accounting, or data entry experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet weekly payroll deadlines.
- Bilingual English/Spanish HIGHLY PREFERRED
