Branch President & Loan Officer

Farmers State Bank of Blue Mound is looking for a Branch President and Loan Officer for our new Osawatomie branch, where they will actively engage in loan origination, customer relationship management and branch operation oversight. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and deliver exceptional financial services to our customers in a new community for the bank. As a key leader at the bank, they will oversee daily branch activities, foster a customer-centric environment, and develop strategic initiatives to expand our market presence. Their expertise in lending, financial analysis, and team leadership will be instrumental in achieving the bank’s mission of providing accessible solutions for our customers in a new market. This position will report directly to the CEO. Key Responsibilities: Develop new business opportunities through proactive financial sales efforts, negotiation skills, and community outreach Lead the branch’s daily operations, ensuring adherence to all compliance and internal policies Originate loans by evaluating borrower needs, conducting credit analysis, and guiding customers through the loan process from application to closing Manage loan processing and underwriting activities, ensuring timely and accurate documentation in compliance requirements Oversee loan servicing activities such as updating financial information and account maintaining Ensure compliance with all banking regulations while maintaining high levels of customer service Train and mentor staff on branch procedures, underwriting standards, and customer engagement strategies to foster a high-performance team environment Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in mortgage lending within a banking or financial services setting is desired, but not necessary Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to analyze credit reports and perform credit analysis effectively Solid understanding of loan processing workflows, underwriting standards, escrow procedures, and contracts management Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships Basic math skills essential for accurate calculations related to loans and financial assessments Ability to lead a team confidently while managing multiple priorities Superb communication and leadership skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Farmers State Bank of Blue Mound
