Psychiatrist: inpatient, per diem, Brooklyn

NewYork-Presbyterian/BrooklynMethodist Hospital is looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified in-patient Psychiatrists for moonlighting shifts . Both new graduates and experienced psychiatrists are encouraged to apply.

The Inpatient Staff Psychiatrist willbe an integral member of the multidisciplinary clinical team providing high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric treatments to patients. The inpatient service provides comprehensive assessments and individually tailored treatment plans for individuals with a wide range of mental illnesses from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. The psychiatrist will collaborate with unit-based nurses, social workers, pharmacists, psychologists, primary care physician’s assistants, and primary case hospitalists. The inpatient staff psychiatrist will contribute to inpatient case conferences and departmental initiatives under the supervision of the Service Chief of Psychiatry.

The position is for moonlighting shifts at $245/hour/days and $280/hour/nights.
