Weill Cornell Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry is seeking an inpatient psychiatrist for our Affective Disorders and Crisis Stabilization unit . The service focuses on the acute care of adult psychiatric patients with mood, psychotic, trauma-related, substance use disorders and other common comorbid conditions. The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team in the provision of clinical care. Located on a historic campus in White Plains, New York , NYP WBH is a 235-bed hospital offering a full continuum of general and specialty psychiatric services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to patients and families.
• Foster a culture of excellence in patient care, education, and collaboration.
• Supervise and mentor junior faculty and clinical staff.
• Contribute to the teaching and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must be Board certified or eligible in Psychiatry and must possess or be eligible for a New York State license. Academic rank commensurate with experience.

Minimum/Maximum Base Salary

$309,000
