Anchor Talent has partnered with a reputable and growing CPA firm specializing in providing comprehensive tax and financial advisory services to high-wealth individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses with multiple entities. With a commitment to excellence and client satisfaction, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic team.
As a Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the tax planning, compliance, and consulting services for our high-wealth clients.
This is a remote opportunity, with preference for candidate to reside in the Austin area.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-wealth individuals and businesses.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of their unique tax needs.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize clients' financial positions.
- Provide guidance on various tax implications related to business transactions and investments.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and entities.
- Stay current on tax laws and regulations, advising clients on compliance requirements.
- Analyze and recommend optimal entity structures for tax efficiency.
- Work closely with clients engaged in multiple business ventures, providing strategic tax advice.
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to deliver integrated financial solutions.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior staff members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification
- 2+years experience as a Tax Manager in a CPA firm or similar environment.
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of QuickBooks and Access
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
