Pharmacist in Charge - Columbia, MO

An opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge at a behavioral health inpatient facility in St Charles, MO. This contract position is expected to last approximately four weeks or until a permanent pharmacist is hired. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid meal break.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations within the inpatient behavioral health setting.
• Manage medication packaging and repackaging using Milt/Medi-dose or HCL systems.
• Perform drug loading into automated dispensing machines, including Omnicell systems.
• Run restock reports and ensure timely medication replenishment.

Qualifications:

• Active Missouri pharmacist license.
• Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing systems preferred.
• Knowledge of repackaging processes with Milt/Medi-dose or HCL desirable.
• Basic understanding of inventory management and automated system restocking.
