As a Mad Scientist, you can be part of our team to help children in the Kansas City area see the world in new ways. You can help educate and excite children through hands-on and interactive Workshops, After School programs and Camps!

Job Summary
As a Mad Scientist you will primarily go to schools, community centers, preschools, libraries and more to lead 30-60 minute classes for Elementary or Preschool children. Each session is high-energy. It’s part entertainment, part education, through a hands-on class. Click the video to see what we do!

Please note that this is a Part Time position.

Responsibilities
Lead 30 or 60 minute science enrichment programs using a prepared, easy-to-understand curriculum.
Independently manage a variable schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an organized setting
• Quick-thinking, flexible, adaptable, high energy, engaging and enthusiastic
• Responsible, reliable, organized and punctual
• Easily able to learn new material
• Must be 18 years of age or more and pass a background check
• Must have driver's license and car available to get to work locations.
• Available at least 4 weekdays 1 pm to 6 pm per week 

Some evening and weekend availability is a plus!
