About the Position

Job Title: RN - OR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: Seasonal - Travel Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year current acute care OR RN experience - BLS & ACLS Description: This position is for a seasonal travel RN in the Operating Room. The schedule consists of Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday shifts. The unit has a total of 284 beds and employs 55 staff members. On day shift, there is 1 Charge RN, 1 Trauma RN, and 1 Trauma Tech. Night shift staffing can vary, typically consisting of 1 RN, 1 Tech, with on-call RNs and Techs. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:1 or 1:2, but are not guaranteed. The Operating Room is equipped with DaVinci Robotics and uses Meditech / CPN for EMR. Procedures performed include Vascular/Hybrid, Trauma, and Neuro. A self-motivated attitude, positive demeanor, and teamwork are essential for this role. On-call response time is required within 30 minutes from 5 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday. No overnight on-call is required. Candidates with experience in large Trauma OR Facilities and Robotics are preferred. Priority will be given to those with prior Meditech experience.
