About the Position

Minimum 1-year current acute care OR RN experience. BLS & ACLS certifications. Description: This is a travel RN position in the Operating Room unit. The schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The unit comprises a Main Operating Room. The unit has 284 beds and a staff of 55. Staffing on day shift includes a Charge RN, a Trauma RN, and a Trauma Tech. Night shift consists of one RN, one Tech, two RNs on-call, and two Techs on-call. Patient ratios vary with a typical range of 1:1 to 1:2. This unit is equipped with DaVinci Robotics. The EMR system used is Meditech/CPN. Preferred qualifications include experience in large Trauma OR facilities. Robotics experience is highly preferred, and candidates with this experience will be prioritized. Prior experience with Meditech is advantageous. Typical procedures performed include Vascular/Hybrid OR, Trauma, and Neuro. Ideal candidates should be self-motivated, possess a positive attitude, and be team players. A 30-minute response time is required for on-call duties, which are scheduled from 5 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday. No overnight on-call is required. This role offers an opportunity to work with new equipment and technology. Tenure and experience of the staff provide a collaborative environment.
