Occupational Therapist

Schedule: - Shift: Days - Hours: 8 hours per day

Assignment Details: - Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements: - 1+ years of Occupational Therapy experience - Long-term care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience - Active Occupational Therapy license - New Graduates considered with Level II experience

Roles & Responsibilities: - Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders. - Develop and implement appropriate plan of care according to clinical practice standards. - Provide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions. - Administer therapeutic activities, exercises, and modalities as part of the rehabilitation plan. - Assess patient progress and modify treatment as necessary. - Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans. - Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain accurate patient records.

Compliance / Notes: - Participation in required meetings such as patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings. - Must adhere to NBCOT and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics.
