Grow your career with us and learn first-hand how to shape remarkable experiences for ourNEW world-class resort****,****guests, and owners.**Objective:**The On Call Banquet Server is responsible for set-up, serving and tear down of banquet events.**Rate of Pay: $12.00 per hour plus service charges**.**Responsibilities** Provide a guest experience that exemplifies South Seas standards of excellence.* Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.* Be on time for events and be prepared to work until the end of the event.* Comply with the Company’s grooming standards, ensuring your uniform is clean and pressed, and your name tag is in place.* Be up to date on all required certifications including Alcohol Awareness and Serve Safe.* Complete prep assignments prior to the event as directed by the Director of Catering or Banquet Captain.* Maintain composure throughout the event, and work through stressful situations.* Must be familiar with the organization of the hotel, and where to direct guests.* Perform other duties as required or assigned by the Banquet Captain.**What are we looking for?****Requirements*** High School diploma or equivalent preferred.* Experience as a Server in a hotel/restaurant environment is a plus.* Ability to communicate to guests in English, bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.**Physical Working Conditions*** Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.* Ability to lift to forty pounds.* Work in both an indoor/outdoor environment, with the potential for hot temperatures.* Ability to work at a computer in an office setting and respond to client inquiries promptly.* Must be able to oversee stress related conversations with clients, vendors, and other departments.*Our company (“Company”) fully subscribes to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity.
