Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in Utica, NY. Start date 11/09/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $3,083–$3,178 with guaranteed hours of 48 per week. Shift: Day shift, 12-hour blocks, 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., four days per week. Setting: hospital-based emergency department.

Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients in the ED, including initial assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; respond rapidly to changes in patient condition; manage life-saving interventions as needed
- Document care in the electronic health record (EPIC) with accurate, complete flowsheets, MARs, and orders
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff; educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Manage patient flow in a high-volume ED; assist with procedures, prepare for imaging or procedures, and support SANE-related care as required
- Float to related ED areas as needed to meet patient care demands

Requirements
- Active New York RN license; Nursys verification required; RTO requests must be included at submission
- Minimum 2+ years of ED experience; some pediatric experience preferred
- Travel experience required; documented travel history
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC must be in-hand)
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Drivers license with address that matches demographics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED and to float to related areas as needed
