About the Position

RN – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care – Nights – Relocation Candidates Welcome

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at a hospital in Globe, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and the ability to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The candidate should be skilled in ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, vasopressor administration, and responding effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic parameters.
• Manage ventilators and administer vasopressors as prescribed.
• Monitor and manage patients with sepsis and other life-threatening conditions.
• Provide care for patients with central lines, arterial lines, and chest tubes.
• Administer blood products and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Meditech EMR.
• Float to Med/Surg, Telemetry, Step-Down, and Observation units as required.
• Participate in on-call coverage and holiday scheduling.

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 3 years of ICU / Critical Care nursing experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Strong experience with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasopressors.
• Experience with telemetry, sepsis management, central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes, and blood administration.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR.
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in on-call coverage.
• Flu vaccination required; no exceptions.
• Ability to float to Med/Surg, Telemetry, Step-Down, and Observation units.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, plus call.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week, subject to facility cancellation policy.
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks.
• Start Date: October 26, 2026.
• Positions Available: 1.
• Holiday Coverage: Required.
• On-Call Pager: $1/hour.
• Call-Back Rate: All-inclusive rate, with a 1-hour minimum.
• Overtime: After 40 hours/week, at the all-inclusive rate.
• Facility Cancellation Policy: Up to 3 shifts may be cancelled per assignment.
• Time Off: Maximum 3 requested days during the 13-week contract.
• Radius Rule: Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for travel consideration.
• 1099: Facility policy must be confirmed before submission.
