The Senior Project Accountant is a new position due to growth that will work with leadership, Project Managers, various teams and help mentor and oversee Project Accountants. Company offers great benefits, hybrid work flexibility, and a strong promotion track.Approximate Base Salary of $95,000 – $125,000 + BonusResponsibilities of the Senior Project Accountant:Responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for assigned construction projectsAnalyze WIP, business plans, budgets, forecasts, and variancesConduct productivity and profitability analysis for assigned projects to leadershipAnalyze and advise on financial/profitability impacts related to labor, materials, equipment, assetsWork with internal/external customers managing financial and billing processes according to contract termsPresent financial information to Finance, Project Management and Operations leadershipManage lien waivers and payment processMonitor pay estimates, cash forecast for AR, supplier payments and contract valuesAssist with staff oversightIdeal Experience for the Senior Project Accountant Role:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related4+ years of Accounting experienceAccounting experience in construction, engineering, architecture, project manufacturing, or relatedExperience providing insights on accounting/finance matters to individuals throughout an organizationStrong project/time management skillsAdvanced Excel skills, working with large data setsHighlights of the Senior Project Accountant position:Strong promotion trackHealth, Vision, Dental, life, disability Insurance, 401K, PTOCompany is growing, with lots of long-term employeesProfessional development and training
