About the Position

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: RN Medical/Surgical Specialty: RN Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS certification Must-Have: EOW/EOH required. Intermittent charge responsibilities may be required. Charge training and shadowing are offered. Description: This is a 30-bed medical/surgical unit specializing in solid organ transplant and bariatric surgery. The typical patient population includes pre-op and post-op solid organ transplant patients, specifically kidney, liver, and pancreas patients, as well as post-op bariatric surgery patients and other general medical/surgical patients. Please note that this unit has available step-down beds. These beds are not exclusively reserved and will be filled with medical/surgical patients when there are no step-down unit patients. While efforts are made to ensure step-down unit patients are assigned to appropriate staff, assignments cannot be guaranteed, and nurses may be required to care for step-down unit patients.
