This small hospital operates under a physician supervision model within its Anesthesia Department, with CRNAs managing their own cases under physician oversight. The facility accommodates a general surgical caseload across its operating room program, with shifts and call volume described as light. Locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought beginning in February on an ongoing basis to address staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

Clinicians on assignment may explore Dundee Lake Park, Heads Creek Reservoir, and the University of Georgia - Griffin Campus, with trail access and options for golf and disc golf available in the area. Dining options spanning North American, Italian, and Latin American cuisine provide varied choices during time away from clinical duties; a rental car is recommended for navigating the area and its surrounding attractions.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts within an operating room setting, following a 1 week on / 1 week off schedule (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM). Shifts transition to active coverage from 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM and beeper call from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with 24-hour weekend beeper call also required; call volume is described as light. The surgical case mix includes bread and butter, endoscopy, and orthopedic procedures, with block proficiency required; OB cases are covered by CRNAs. Board certification is negotiable for all clinicians considered for this role.
