Commercial Hvac Mechanic

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced commercial HVAC mechanics for projects located in or around Ogden, UT. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30-$36/hour based on experience and skill level. Job scope:

• Install and maintain commercial HVAC/mechanical equipment and ductwork
• Work on large commercial mechanical projects, including boiler retrofits/upgrades and refrigerated storage facilities
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical schematics
• Coordinate with structural and other trades to prevent clashes and maintain project sequencing.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems and field issues
• Lead and train crew members as needed
• Communicate with contractors, project managers, and other trades.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and productive jobsite

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial mechanical/HVAC experience
• Experience with large-scale commercial projects
• Strong blueprint and mechanical schematic reading skills
• Structural framing/building experience preferred
• Ability to anticipate problems and work independently
• Proven ability to lead crews and manage assigned scope with minimal supervision
