Associate Director, Regulatory Affairs US Advertising and Promotion - Immunology
AbbVie
Associate Director leading regulatory strategy and cross-functional teams in US advertising and promotion for immunology products. Responsible for setting operations, analyzing market trends, managing departmental budgets, and driving process improvements while overseeing staff development and departmental initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Set strategy and lead cross-functional therapeutic teams on multidivisional initiatives with minimal direction
- Maintain productivity metrics, project business needs, and manage departmental budget and expenditures
- Collect and analyze market issues and trends to identify cross-organizational opportunities and leverage industry knowledge
- Oversee day-to-day operations in Director's absence and manage staff development, mentoring, and performance accountability
- Develop and deliver complex processes, strategic presentations, and identify areas for process and policy improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science (biology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, pharmacy, pharmacology); Master's, PhD, or PharmD preferred
- 8+ years pharmaceutical experience with Bachelor's, or 5+ years with PharmD plus advertising/promotion expertise
- Direct responsibility and solid understanding of regulatory advertising and promotion regulations
- Experience in complex, matrix organizational environments
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Management experience preferred
