We are a growing professional chimney company looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join our team as a Chimney Technician Helper / Apprentice .

No chimney experience is required — we will train the right person. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade and potentially build a long-term career in the chimney industry.

Job Duties

• Assist with chimney cleanings, inspections, repairs, and installations
• Help with chimney liners, caps, waterproofing, and other chimney-related work
• Assist with wood-burning stove installations and repairs
• Set up and safely use ladders, tools, and equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Follow safety procedures while working on roofs, ladders, and around chimneys
• Be willing to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities

• Dependable and reliable — showing up on time every day is extremely important
• Hardworking and willing to learn
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable doing physical work and working on ladders and rooftops
• Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
• Experience with power tools, construction, mechanical work, or other hands-on trades is a plus
• Must be willing to work as part of a team and take direction

Opportunity for Advancement

This is not just a helper position. The goal is to train the right person to become a lead chimney technician .

You will start by working alongside the owner and learning the trade from the ground up. After approximately your first year, there is an opportunity to move into a lead technician position with your own company truck.

Lead technicians can earn over $100,000 per year , and motivated employees who learn the trade and perform well can work toward that level relatively quickly.

Schedule & Transportation

We meet at the owner’s home in Duncan, SC each morning and travel together to job sites in the company vehicle.
