We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Systems Administrator to support and maintain enterprise Windows and Linux server environments in a fast-paced, mission-focused organization. This role is responsible for building, configuring, securing, and monitoring systems across virtual and physical infrastructures, while ensuring compliance with security and accreditation requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a proactive troubleshooting mindset, and the ability to clearly document and communicate system configurations and procedures for shared team success.Windows Server Administration:Server builds on virtual and physical hardwareActive Directory user account management, security groups, and Computer objectsDNS management, forward and reverse lookups, zonesGroup Policy Object creation, modification, assignment to objects in ADWSUS patch management to include approve/decline, group management, and database cleanupLinux Server Administration:Server builds on virtual and physical hardware, provisioning storage partitionsTroubleshooting Linux service problemsPatch management through yum, apt-get, and dnfSimple Linux networking and base services (ntp, DNS, selinux, firewalls)Third-party application installation and managementFamiliarity with network-based storage and long-term NAS appliancesUse of system monitoring and logging tools like Nagios and SplunkVulnerability management through systems like Nessus and Nexpose Rapid7Customer ATO and accreditation process including documentation and scanning requirementsBasic knowledge of AWS to include EC2 instances, volumes, snapshots, and security groupsStrong communication skills, fast-paced work environmentAbility to produce system documentation and SOPS for shared team knowledgeFamiliarity with JIRA ticketing system to track work projectVirtualization technology to include VMWare and ProxmoxActive TS/SCI with poly clearance is requiredDisclaimer:The information provided in this job description is accurate and truthful to the best of our knowledge.
