TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Riverside, California. In this full-time role, you will work directly with a diverse group of patients, guiding them on their journey towards improved movement and overall wellness. Our state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility is equipped with cutting-edge therapeutic tools and technologies, allowing our professional team to deliver comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. As a PT-owned practice, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture and commitment to delivering exceptional care to individuals predominantly covered by private insurance.

Work Environment

Our onsite facility fosters a supportive and dynamic work environment. You will be joining a team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) dedicated to promoting recovery and rehabilitation. The facility is designed to enhance both patient and therapist experiences, cultivating a professional atmosphere that encourages collaboration and continuous learning. You will work from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' specific goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Provide individualized treatment sessions, managing a caseload of one patient per hour to ensure focused attention and quality of care.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans incorporating various modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Facilitate recovery by employing cost-effective interventions that improve patients' range of motion, strength, and mobility while reducing reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Document patient progress meticulously and communicate treatment outcomes to ensure a transparent and inclusive approach to patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient support, sharing insights and strategies to enhance overall effectiveness of care plans.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their treatment journey, empowering them to adopt healthier lifestyle choices that positively affect their rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Must hold a valid California Physical Therapy license.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective treatment protocols tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, complemented by robust knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation strategies.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and enhance patient management.
• An untarnished professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions against the license is essential.

Preferred Experience

We value candidates with prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, who can showcase their proficiency in developing and executing personalized care plans. Familiarity with contemporary treatment methodologies and tools will be advantageous, as will experience in collaborating with other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary environments.

Compensation and Benefits
