Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center operates on-site, allowing for direct interaction with patients and collaboration among our esteemed team: two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, and we cater primarily to individuals possessing private medical insurance, allowing for a focused and efficient treatment milieu.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address the unique rehabilitation goals and requirements of each patient to provide personalized care plans.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour to ensure thorough attention and high-quality care.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve functionality, employing the latest, evidence-based methods.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, ensuring programs align with each patient's specific recovery needs.
• Design tailored fitness and wellness regimens aimed at promoting overall health, strength, and flexibility.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, facilitating an inspiring environment that fosters their engagement and commitment to recovery.
• Collaborate with peers and other healthcare professionals to maintain continuity of care and optimize rehabilitation effectiveness.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring effective communication throughout the process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all services rendered, treatments administered, and patient outcomes to support high-quality care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is on patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. Typically, this consists of individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions impacting their musculoskeletal health. Our clients rely on us to provide evidence-based interventions that not only restore physical function but also educate and empower patients to maintain their wellness long-term.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and patient assessment methodologies.
• Experienced in designing and implementing tailored exercise programs, addressing individual patient needs.
• Capable of using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a strong understanding of the rehabilitation process.
• A demonstrated track record of successful patient outcomes, showcasing your ability to motivate and engage clients during their recovery.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
