Workflow Automation Expert

Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of workflow automation solutions, from process discovery through deployment and optimisation Design and implement scalable automation using business process management (BPM) and robotic process automation (RPA) Translate business and user needs into automation-first solutions that improve reliability and reduce manual effort Identify high-impact automation opportunities with cross-functional stakeholders Ensure automation solutions align with enterprise platforms, security, compliance and governance standards Collaborate across business, technical and operational teams to drive adoption and measurable outcomes Apply systems thinking to analyse, model and redesign processes for automation readiness Act as a hands‑on subject‑matter expert and mentor to build automation and process capability Promote best practices, frameworks and reusable solutions to improve organisational automation maturity Contribute to a culture of rapid delivery, innovation and continuous improvement using AI-enabled approaches Qualifications (Essential) 7+ years designing and delivering workflow automation solutions end-to-end Proven ability to translate business/user needs into scalable automation via BPM and RPA Strong systems thinking; experience analysing and redesigning complex processes for automation readiness Mindset of curiosity driving continuous improvement Strong collaboration and communication skills across business, technical and operational teams Ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority in a complex, matrixed environment Practical understanding of AI applications in automation/transformation initiatives Experience in life sciences/pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environments Qualifications (Desirable) Experience in pharmaceutical drug discovery or scientific research workflows Experience mentoring others to build capability in automation, process engineering or AI Benefits Salary expected to range from \$152,600 to \$283,400 per year; performance-based cash incentive; possible eligibility for annual equity awards; comprehensive benefits and time off for US-based eligible employees.
