At Parkside Utility Construction, as an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll partner with internal divisions in the preparation, execution, and completion of projects and participate in the day-to-day activities of Parkside's Project Management function. This is under the direction of the Operations Management Team.

What you’ll do

• Assist senior project management leadership members with the day-to-day supervision, oversight and execution of plans..

• Track department progress in achieving goals, proactively report on progress, and adjust associated strategies and processes, as appropriate.

• Provide feedback to cross-functional teams and fosters interactions with other departments to ensure the successful execution of all project management activities.

• Ensure that the organization's Project Management activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards.

• Read and analyze engineering drawings to create accurate bill of materials

• Train new team members on billing processes and procedures

• Complete data entry tasks across multiple platforms

• Assist in developing project schedules, timelines, and work breakdown structures.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.

• Serve as a central point of contact for project-related inquiries and information dissemination.

• Schedule and coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes.

• Prepare presentations and reports for various stakeholders.

• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older

• Authorization to work in the United States for this company

• Typically requires progressive experience in Project Management

• A bachelor’s degree in business, science or a related field

• Understanding of Fiber Telecommunications Construction

• Seasoned change management skills

• Expert interpersonal, communication and data management skill
