Our client is a specialized healthcare organization focused on supporting injured federal employees throughout their recovery and workers' compensation journey. The organization works closely with patients, healthcare providers, physicians, case managers, and administrative teams to ensure patients receive appropriate care while navigating the federal workers' compensation process.

The clinical environment is centered around patient advocacy, clear communication, thorough documentation, individualized treatment, and helping patients safely recover and return to work.

This is an opportunity for a Physical Therapist who enjoys providing quality, individualized care rather than working in a high-volume treatment environment .

One of the key differentiators of this role is the ability to provide one-on-one patient care in approximately one-hour treatment sessions , often with patients receiving treatment multiple times per week.

Position Overview

The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat injured patients with musculoskeletal, functional, neurological, and work-related conditions. The successful candidate will develop individualized treatment plans, provide hands-on therapy and therapeutic interventions, monitor patient progress, and modify care plans based on clinical needs and physician orders.

The Physical Therapist will play an important role in helping patients recover functional abilities, manage pain, improve mobility, and safely return to their normal work and daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and physical assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
• Provide hands-on physical therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other appropriate interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Support patients recovering from musculoskeletal, functional, neurological, and work-related injuries.
• Provide individualized one-on-one patient care in approximately one-hour treatment sessions.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, body mechanics, mobility, ergonomics, and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation.
• Follow physician orders and coordinate care appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support patients throughout their rehabilitation and recovery process.
• Help patients work toward safe functional recovery and return-to-work goals.
• Maintain compliance with applicable clinical, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Create a compassionate, patient-centered treatment experience.

Required Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Utah, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Utah .
• Strong clinical skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation.
• Ability to evaluate, assess, treat, and monitor musculoskeletal and functional conditions.
• Strong patient care skills and ability to create individualized treatment plans.
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, rehabilitation techniques, and appropriate clinical modalities.
• Understanding of injuries involving musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional limitations.
• Strong clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, case managers, and internal team members.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with hands-on physical therapy, including standing, demonstrating exercises, and assisting patients when appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with work-related injuries.
