Product Owner-IT Operations

Product OwnerWhile this is a remote position, the successful candidate must reside within 50 miles of a FedEx Freight location within the continental US.Responsible for translating business needs into scalable technology solutions, driving delivery across multiple tools and platforms, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution. The Product Owner plays a critical role in enabling adoption, improving user experience, managing internal and external vendor relationships and supporting the continued modernization of the Operations tools landscape.Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:Lead delivery and optimization of Freight Operations technology platforms, ensuring alignment to business priorities and product roadmapManage and coordinate vendor partners across the ecosystem, including performance tracking, delivery oversight, prioritization, and issue resolutionProvide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to Product Analysts, ensuring quality of requirements, consistency of deliverables, and effective stakeholder engagementPartner with Business and IT teams to gather requirements and drive delivery across cross-functional initiativesDefine and manage backlog prioritization and sequencing across multiple tools and capabilities, balancing new features, enhancements, defect resolution, and dependenciesTranslate business requirements into clear features and user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items in partnership with Product Management, Engineering, and ArchitectureLead and enforce Agile ways of working and delivery tracking including backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and release management while monitoring and communicating team velocity, sprint progress, and other Agile KPIs.Monitor platform adoption, performance, and KPIs (e.g., campaign performance, engagement, customer feedback) and recommend improvements based on insightsEnsure adherence to governance, documentation, and quality standards across marketing platforms and processesFacilitate stakeholder communication, issue resolution, and alignment across business and technical teamsLead Agile transformation and scrum execution for one or more teams, diving complex initiatives/releases while ensuring clear goals, scope, and adherence to agile best practices.Foster Agile maturity and continuous improvement by promoting collaboration, prioritization, accountability, and support, assessing team agile effectiveness, and implementing improvement plans.Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/proceduresPerform other duties as requiredQualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Information Systems, or related field.Three (3) years professional experience in product analysis, business analysis, or product/project deliver roles.Experience working with digital technology platforms and translating business requirements into user stories and managing backlogs in agile environmentsExperience managing vendor teams and third – party technology providersStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to lead workstreams and guide junior analysts in a cross-functional environmentExperience with FXF Operations, Safety, facility, fuel technology platforms.Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)Experience with data analysis, reporting, and dashboarding toolsGood analytical skills with the ability to review data, define issues and identify solutionsJob Conditions:Some travel requiredPay Transparency:The compensation listed reflects the pay range or rate of pay reasonably expected for this posted position at the posted location(s).
