JOB REQUIREMENTS: Full Stack Engineer This role focuses on designing,

developing, and maintaining applications that support reinsurance administration systems for life and annuity products. You will work as part of a small, collaborative team of developers, building scalable solutions and enhancing existing systems to meet evolving business needs. The position requires strong full stack development experience, a solid understanding of system architecture, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. The Basics Duration: 10 months Hours per week: 40 hours Location: Hybrid in Milwaukee, WI Required Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent practical experience 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering or application development Strong experience building solutions using agile methodologies with a focus on client needs Proficiency with React, HTML5, CSS, functional components, hooks, and Redux Experience with NodeJS using JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java Spring Boot Familiarity with DevOps practices, Git, and monitoring or logging tools such as Dynatrace or ELK Experience with AWS services including SQS, Lambda, S3, or Kafka Knowledge of both relational and non relational databases Experience with Postgres and DynamoDB preferred Strong understanding of system design patterns and architectural principles Ability to communicate effectively with both technical team members and business stakeholders Strong problem solving and analytical skills Experience conducting peer reviews of design and code Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications supporting reinsurance administration systems Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions Build and enhance front end and back end components using modern frameworks and technologies Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure alignment with best practices and design patterns Perform peer reviews of code and design to maintain quality and consistency Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative development processes Integrate applications with AWS services and cloud based infrastructure Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues using appropriate tooling Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability across systems Continuously improve development processes and contribute to team knowledge sharing In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information.
