Smile-Maker Wanted: Experienced Dental Assistant Needed at ALFA Dental!
We're seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join our back office team! If you have dental assisting experience and a passion for patient care, this is your chance to grow with a supportive dental practice. Must be available Saturdays (8 AM – 3 PM); additional days may be added based on your availability!

- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Nitrous Oxide Certification
- Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
What You'll Need:
• Dental Assisting experience (required)
• Nitrous Oxide Certification (preferred)
• CPR Certification
• RDA or CDA credentials a plus
Job Description
What You’ll Do:
• Prepare patients for dental procedures by ensuring comfort and explaining what to expect during their visit.
• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments.
• Sterilize dental instruments and prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist and ensure all images are of diagnostic quality.
•Update patient records with information about treatments performed, procedures scheduled, and any concerns raised by patients.
• Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions and guidance on oral hygiene and preventive practices.
• Prepare and mix dental materials such as fillings, impressions, and bonding agents as needed for procedures.
• Manage appointment scheduling, patient communications, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, adhering to all infection control protocols.
