Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Fredericksburg, TX. This position supports patients in a skilled nursing facility by evaluating functional abilities, developing individualized treatment plans, providing hands-on therapy per physician orders and facility protocols, documenting progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The role includes patient, family, and caregiver education and requires adherence to state and federal regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Texas Occupational Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or similar post-acute settings preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate functional abilities and create individualized treatment plans.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with documentation systems used in SNF settings preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift length: 8 hour day shift.
• Float required: No.
