Aluminum / Steel Welder
Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Aluminum / Steel Welder for a large manufacturing company in Houston. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, and galvanized materials using MIG, Flux Core, and spool gun welding processes.
Pay Rate:
$23.00 - $24.00 per hour.
Schedule Hours:
6:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday-Friday (overtime as needed)
Aluminum/Steel Welder Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform MIG, Flux Core, and spool gun welding on aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, and galvanized materials
• Weld components in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
• Work with pipes, cross bars, and grating panels to complete fabrication and production requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders accurately
• Set up welding equipment and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality welds
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair/fix welds when necessary
Aluminum/Steel Welder Qualifications and Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of welding experience required
• Strong experience with MIG welding, Flux Core welding, and aluminum welding using a spool gun
• Must be able to pass a welding test if required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
