EDUCATION/SKILLS:

• Variety of welding skills as stated on the latest version of the ATS Welding Technician Training Chart
• Associates Degree in Welding Technology or two (2) years experience without degree
• ability to travel on short notice for extended periods
• self motivated with high level of initiative
• ability to work with minimal supervision
• problem solving skills
• written and verbal communication skills in English

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• complete day to day activities of assigned areas and projects
• communication with all levels of management, engineering and clients
• tasks may include operation of cranes, forklift, general housekeeping, assisting with weld setup and equipment mobilization/demobilization
• meet assigned project timelines
• other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• while performing these duties, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands/arms and talk or hear
• the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
• reasonable visual acuity for the work performed

Working Conditions:

• non-temperature controlled environment
• moderate to noisy environment with periods of intense sound
