USA|Fitter/Welder 1
Our client, a leader in gas turbine and rotating equipment manufacturing, is seeking a USA|Fitter/Welder 1 to join their team. As a USA|Fitter/Welder 1, you will be part of the assembly and maintenance department supporting gas turbine overhaul projects. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Perform fitting, tacking, and welding of components according to detailed drawings and welding standards.
- Inspect, repair, replace, and maintain mechanical components on gas turbines and compressor packages.
- Work with engineering and quality control teams to ensure assembly accuracy and quality.
- Operate cutting rigs, welding machinery, and measuring tools safely and efficiently.
- Interpret complex assembly instructions, blueprints, and specifications to meet production goals.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma, GED, or 10+ years of relevant stainless steel pipe welding experience; technical certificates and work experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in assembly of rotating equipment manufacturing, with welding and cutting tools expertise.
- Experience with gas turbine mechanical work and overhaul preferred.
- Knowledge of Siemens Energy Turbomachinery assembly, including development and interpretation of technical instructions, is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
