Business Analyst

Immediate need for a talented Business Analyst. This is a 06 - 12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Chicago, IL (Primary) & Houston, TX (Secondary) (Hybrid). Pay Range: $60/hr - $70/hour. health insurance (medical, dental, vision) 401(k) plan paid sick leave (depending on work location) Key Responsibilities Client is continuously seeking talented Business Analysts to support a wide range of business and technology initiatives across the organization. These opportunities may support operations, customer experience, digital products, enterprise applications, data and analytics, finance, supply chain, airport operations, and other strategic programs. We are building a pipeline of qualified Business Analysts at various experience levels for upcoming and ongoing projects. Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions. Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and business documentation. Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and optimization. Support Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies throughout the project lifecycle. Create and maintain business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, process maps, and workflow diagrams. Facilitate communication between business users, development teams, QA teams, and project managers. Assist with testing activities including UAT planning, test case validation, defect tracking, and production support. Perform data analysis and reporting to support business decisions and project objectives. Identify project risks, dependencies, assumptions, and gaps while recommending solutions. Support change management, training, and implementation activities as needed. Experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or related role. Strong experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience creating process flows, business documentation, and user stories. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Vision. Experience supporting airline, transportation, travel, logistics, operations, customer experience, or enterprise technology projects. Knowledge of Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), Rally, or similar platforms. Experience with SQL, data analysis, reporting tools, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI platforms. Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, cloud technologies, or digital transformation initiatives. Experience supporting enterprise applications such as SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, Oracle, or similar platforms. Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, CSPO, or Agile-related certifications is a plus.
