Product Manager

The Opportunity HeC, a property of Everyday Health Group, is looking for a Product Manager. As Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare talent acquisition. Within the first 12 months, you will define and execute a product roadmap that demonstrably increases key engagement metrics (e.g. applications per job view, activation rate, etc.). These efforts will involve a deep understanding of user needs, market trends, and competitive offerings, and ultimately lead to measurable growth in platform usage and partner retention. Key Responsibilities Drive Product Innovation and Execution: Lead the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality features and enhancements. Work closely with the Data Science team and external vendors to expand the scope of AI solutions that match physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and allied health professionals to employers. Deeply Understand Our Users (Job Seekers): Establish and maintain a deep understanding of the needs, behaviors, and pain points of healthcare job seekers through user research, data analysis, and collaboration with customer‑facing teams. Collaborate Effectively Across Teams: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and partner management teams to ensure alignment and successful product delivery. Establish clear communication channels and processes to foster effective cross‑functional collaboration within the first 3 months. Utilize Data to Drive Decisions: Establish and leverage OKRs to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data‑driven product decisions. Job Qualifications Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to influence and build relationships with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders. Track record of product management: 3+ years of experience leading product engineering teams and launching successful products, ideally within a two‑sided marketplace or SaaS environment. End‑to‑end funnel expertise: Hands‑on experience analyzing and optimizing the full user experience funnel, identifying drop‑off points, prioritizing experiments, and implementing changes that lift conversion rates. Experience at a career search platform, e‑commerce site, or high‑traffic consumer marketplace is preferred. Experience designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests is required. SEO strategy and organic growth: Strong working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, on‑page optimization, structured data (including Google for Jobs schema markup), and ability to apply these to drive organic candidate traffic. Familiarity with how AI‑driven search overviews reshaping organic visibility and click‑through behavior. Passionate about the mission and customers: Commitment to Health eCareers' mission to connect healthcare professionals with opportunities and improve patient care; demonstrated ability to conduct user research and translate insights into product improvements. Experience in the online recruitment industry: Understanding of the dynamics between employers and job seekers is a strong plus. Compensation & Benefits Base pay range: $105,000 to $135,000. Individual pay within this range depends on experience, scope of role, capabilities, education, and company performance.
