Rockland Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is expanding its sales team and looking for motivated, competitive, and customer-focused Sales Consultants.

Whether you are an experienced automotive professional searching for a stronger opportunity or a proven salesperson ready to enter the automotive industry, we provide the inventory, training, technology, management support, and earning opportunity needed to succeed.

Our compensation is performance-based and designed to reward sales production, gross-profit performance, customer satisfaction, and consistent results. High-performing Sales Consultants have the opportunity to earn well into six figures, with some of our current producers tracking near the top of the advertised earnings range.

COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY

Our Sales Consultants are compensated through a combination of commissions, monthly volume incentives, performance bonuses, and additional earning opportunities.

The advertised range reflects the earning opportunity available within our sales department. Actual earnings depend on individual production, gross profit, customer satisfaction, completed transactions, and applicable bonuses. Earnings are not guaranteed.

Job Requirements:
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Welcome customers and provide a professional, pressure-conscious buying experience
• Identify each customer's needs, preferences, budget, and vehicle requirements
• Present and demonstrate new and pre-owned vehicles
• Conduct professional test drives and vehicle walkarounds
• Respond promptly to showroom, internet, phone, text, and email opportunities
• Maintain organized and consistent follow-up before and after the sale
• Use VinSolutions to manage leads, appointments, customer activity, and follow-up
• Work closely with sales and finance management to complete transactions
• Coordinate deliveries and familiarize customers with their new vehicles
• Build repeat and referral business through excellent customer service
• Maintain current knowledge of inventory, vehicle technology, incentives, and programs
• Meet individual and departmental sales and customer-satisfaction objectives

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Previous automotive dealership experience is preferred, but not required
• Previous commissioned-sales experience is strongly preferred
• At least one year of sales or customer-facing experience is a plus
• Competitive, persistent, and motivated by measurable results
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude
• Strong organizational and customer follow-up habits
• Comfortable communicating in person, by phone, text, and email
• Able to learn and consistently use VinSolutions and dealership sales systems
• Coachable and willing to participate in ongoing training
• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to work a full-time retail automotive schedule, including assigned weekends and holidays
