Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A home infusion pharmacist opportunity is available for a contract position located in Bensalem, PA. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for a minimum duration of 8 weeks. The environment has a low volume with support from one pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities include preparing customized, sterile medications such as IV fluids within a controlled environment, ensuring strict adherence to aseptic techniques to guarantee patient safety. The pharmacist will verify sterile preparations, enforce compliance with USP standards, oversee pharmacy technician activities, maintain cleanroom equipment, and conduct final inspections of sterile products.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent sterile compounding experience
• Proficiency with pharmacy-related computer systems
• Demonstrated knowledge of USP and USP standards for sterile preparations
• Ability to supervise pharmacy technicians effectively
