Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist specializing in home infusion with a focus on sterile compounding. This role is ideal for someone skilled in preparing customized sterile medications, such as IV fluids, within a controlled environment. The position requires adherence to strict aseptic techniques and regulatory standards to ensure patient safety.

Location: Levittown, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 8+ weeks
Work Environment: Low volume, supported by 1 pharmacy technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify customized sterile medications in compliance with USP and USP standards
• Enforce aseptic technique protocols to maintain patient safety and medication integrity
• Oversee and supervise pharmacy technicians during compounding processes
• Maintain and monitor cleanroom equipment to ensure optimal sterile conditions
• Perform final inspections and quality control checks on compounded products

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• At least 1 year of recent sterile compounding experience in pharmacy practice
• Active and clear Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Proficient with pharmacy-related computer systems and technology
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance
