We have an opening available for a Mechanical Engineering Manager in the Syracuse, NY area.
As the Mechanical Engineering Manager you will manage a team of highly technical engineers.
Key duties include:
- Manage the mechanical engineering department’s productivity, efficiency, and utilization.
- Manage schedule and budget for all mechanical engineering resources on projects.
- Identify and implement improvements in working processes and procedures.
- Manage engineering backlog.
- Participate in design reviews, quote reviews, and estimates.
- Develop and motivate engineers in their career growth.
Education and Experience:
- BS in Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience supervising groups of Engineers.
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or Product Engineer.
- Knowledgeable with 3D modeling, PLC’s, AC/DC drives systems and ERP systems.
