TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - Cardiac Telemetry and PCU experience required - Experience with rapid response teams - Experience with post myocardial infarction and pre and post cardiac catheterization - Experience managing TR Bands, central lines, PICC lines, and CVP monitoring Description: This position involves working 3 shifts of 12 hours during the night. Staff are asked to sign up for 5 weekend shifts every 6 weeks. Travel team members are held to the same requirement. There may be a need to float between multiple campuses. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are welcome. Focus on cardiac patients will be essential in this role. Conditions managed include acute coronary syndrome, arrhythmias, and syncope. The patient population includes those with new onset and chronic heart failure. Patients may present with chest pain, stable STEMI, NSTEMI, and other cardiac issues. Staff will provide care pre and post cardiac catheterization, as well as after pacemaker and ICD placements. Experience with common nursing procedures related to this patient demographic is necessary. Managing cardiac and vasoactive drips will be part of the responsibilities. Other skills required include telemetry monitoring and wound care management. Strong teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary support staff is expected.
